My mattress has begun to dip

Mattresses are designed to ‘mould’ to your body shape to offer you personalised comfort and pressure relief. Much like a new pair of shoes, mattresses need time to be ‘worn in’ to reach optimal comfort levels. This process involves slight compression in certain areas, which, as mentioned, is the mattress ‘moudling’ to your body.

Slight compression and settlement do not mean your mattress is faulty or damaged unless it is causing you discomfort. For more information, you can read about mattress settlement in our guide - How Long Does a Mattress Last?
