The mattress I received has a different firmness label than on the website

There is no standardised firmness scale in the bed industry, so mattress firmness is decided by each manufacturer based on what they think it feels like. Because of this, firmnesses can vary massively from brand to brand.

To help our customers get the right mattress for them, MattressNextDay have our own firmness rating, which we test against what the manufacturer recommends. Usually, we agree, but sometimes we feel - based on our experiences with a huge range of mattresses - that it better suits a different label.
